Painted elephants.

I thought I'd share a set of beautiful photographs of painted elephants taken by Charles Fréger and shown in National Geographic. They're such stunning photographs and the colours are sublime. I hope you enjoy them if you haven't seen them already.

I also wanted to wish my wonderful Mum a Happy Birthday - you mean the world to me. Thank you for everything.

  1. They look beautiful but I feel sorry for these animals. When I was in India, I refused to take photos of them. But that's just my opinion...

    1. Hi Anouka, thanks for your comment and I respect your opinion. I am totally against animal cruelty in any form, but in my opinion painted elephants are a part of Indian culture and tradition, in fact elephants are seen as regal and extremely respected in their culture.
