April showers in June?

English weather, you're totally letting me down! I've been so cold today in work and was stuck inside due to the rain so it was really nice to get home to a lovely warm house, put my pj's on, receive a beautiful bunch of pink peonies from my lovely Mum and to top it off, I had a package waiting for me off the postman. I hurriedly opened it up to find some really cute pick & mix gifts from a new company called Lasula Boutique. They sent me a pretty necklace adorned with birds, a jumper and sweeties! Thanks, Lasula!

So it's clear to see from this post that I love flowers, ice cream, cakes and dogs...sums me up well I think! 

Throwback Thursday

If there's one catwalk show I would have walked a thousand miles to be at, it's the Chanel Pre-Fall 2012. The theme was Paris-Bombay which combined the opulence of Paris with the rich, beautiful fabrics and jewels of India. The setting has to be one of the most breathtaking that I've seen, with guests seated at  long tables showered with candelabras, flowers, gold cutlery to eat a mouth watering banquet and a miniature silver train which sped along a winding track.

Karl Lagerfeld has never been to India. He said, "It's much more inspiring not to go to places than to go." What do you think? Do you agree with My Lagerfeld?

Christian Dior Spring/Summer 2014

I'm currently spending my Saturday night watching The Voice and looking through the photographs of the Christian Dior Spring/Summer 2014 ready to wear collection. I love the colours used, especially the peaches, blues and yellows. The first dress is beautiful but if I was wearing it, I'd definitely pull the zip further down as there's no way I'd go out of the house showing off my Bridget Jones knickers! The royal blue colour in the second outfit is a stunning. When am I going to win the Euromillions? I hope you like the GIFs that I made.

Eye Candy Friday

Instead of a 'Happy Friday' post, I thought I'd make things a little more fun and have an eye candy post. I usually prefer to do things on a whim but hopefully I'll be able to make this into a weekly post. Suggestions welcome!
