SJP - Met Gala 2013

The theme of the Met Gala this year was 'Punk: Chaos to Couture'. I felt that many attendees made a luke warm effort, putting a couple of streaks of blue and pink dye in their hair or ignoring the theme altogether. The person I admired the most for fully embracing the theme was Sarah Jessica Parker. She pulled out all the stops in her punk inspired ensemble with her Giles Deacon dress, Christian Louboutin and show-stopping Philip Treacy mohawk headdress. It's very much a Carrie Bradshaw moment and makes me miss Sex and the City!

    I totally agree! The theme had me so excited, but almost no-one made any kind of effort to follow it! She looked incredible & I really, really want one of those mohawks!
